Brenda Fox, 62 of Poplar Bluff, went to be with Jesus, Sunday August 3, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Fox was born November 22, 1951 in Poplar Bluff, to the late John Summerlott and still living Liddie Johnson Wilkerson.
Mrs. Fox was a lifetime resident of Butler County. She attended Grace Christian Fellowship and Midland Church. She had been Butler County Collector since 2000. She was a devoted worker at the Butler County Courthouse for 28 years. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking ,shopping and being with family.
On April 12, 1970 she married Charles Fox in Poplar Bluff, he survives. Also surviving are her children; Jerry Dale Fox and wife Paula, Kristy Dawn Smith and husband Matt, her mother Liddie Wilkerson, sisters Mary Cozetta Vinson, and Ruby Porch; brothers Tommy and Leon Summerlott and Ricky Brown; grandchildren; Jerrica and Julia Fox, Matthew and Kaylee Smith, Jessica Jarrell, Chelsey King, Kylly and Storm Jay. Brenda is also survived by a host of friends.
She dearly loved all who live in Butler County.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, sisters; Christine McIrvin, Patricia Taylor, and Justine Brown; brothers; Ronnie and Junior Summerlott.
Visitation will begin at 12pm Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, with services beginning at 2pm with Rev. Brian Sharp, Pastor Paul White and Bishop Ron Webb officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens.
