Jefferson (J.A.) Adams West was the son of Thomas Marion West and Martha Jane Adams. His parents were one of the founding families of the township of West,Texas. He was married to Laura Imogene Allen on 27 Dec 1892 in West, Texas. Their graves are unmarked. Their son, Allen West, was the nearest surviving heir and had significant mental health issues. Efforts are being made to secure headstones for both Jeff and Laura West.
