Five children, three sons and two daughters, were born to the Mr. and Mrs. Curtis, two of whom survive. They are Mrs. Florence Smith of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Mabel Loveridge of West Chicago. Besides Carl, two other sons preceded their mother in death, Roy, who died three years ago, and Claude, who passed away four years ago last August.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. William Hoffman of West Chicago, Mrs. Nellie McAllister of Chicago, Mrs. Minnie Bell of Omaha, Neb., one brother, Wilbur Renshaw of Darwin, Ill., 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
