Rose Ball Henninges supported the teaching of Pastor Charles Taze Russell and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. She help her husband Earnest C. Henninges form branch offices in England, Germany and Australia. After her defection in 1908 she again helped her husband Earnest C. Henninges form the New Covenant Followership in Melbourne, Australia. With Earnest C. Henninges' death in February 1939 the NCF's evangelizing efforts declined. Rose edited the New Covenant Advocate from 1939 to 1944. The New Covenant Advocate was a regular publication produced by Earnest and Rose Henninges from April 1909 through to 1944. The work was continued after 1944 by members of the Melbourne Bible Student Class, now known as Christian Bible Students Melbourne, until 1953. Since that time the Group has produced other publications and magazines, the latest of which is the New Covenant News. The Henninges sect now numbers less the 100 supporters, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society currently has over 7,900,000 supporters. Rose and Earnest are buried in the same grave, but the memorial inscription was never updated.
