John Thomas "J.T." Pardue, 92, of Scottsville, KY died at 4:07 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY. The Portland, TN native was a farmer, a WWII Army veteran, Pentecostal and lifetime member of the DAV. He was a son of the late Arthur C. Pardue and Linnie Law Pardue.



He is survived by 4 sons: Roger Pardue and wife, Linda; Danny Pardue and wife, Jimmie; Junior Ray Pardue and wife, Donna and John Glen Pardue, all of Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Betty Ogles, Scottsville, KY;

7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 unborn great grandson and 1 unborn great great grandson; and

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 6 brothers: V. K. Pardue, George Lee Pardue, Everette Pardue, Frank Pardue, Art Pardue and Andy "Little Willie" Pardue; 2 half sisters: Gladys Graves and Ruby Allen; and 1 half brother: Bro. Herbert Graves.



Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Wayne Brown and Bro. Chris Calvert officiating and burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
