MULLINS - Mrs. Rebecca D. "Becky" Summey passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 15, 2006 after an extended illness. Becky was born March 10, 1922 in Morganton, NC, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Darby.
She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Gordon.
She is survived by a daughter, Anne Welch (Bryant) of Florence; a son, Gordon (Debbie) Summey (Debbie) of Spartanburg; and 6 grandchildren.
She was very active in the Mullins Presbyterian Church, until her illness. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Jason Brewer and the Rev. George Ganey officiating.
