Katherine Cross, 83, of Moulton, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Lawrence County to Lula Muston. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ussery Cross; three sons, Jerry Cross, Michael Cross and Barry Cross; one grandson, Jeff Carson; one infant granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter, MaKayla Pearson.
Survivors include five sons, Stanley Cross, Kenneth Cross, Dwight Cross, Frankie Cross and Dale Cross, all of Moulton; four daughters, Janette Carson of Stockton, Calif., and Betty Pearson, Linda Terry and Janice Cross, all of Moulton; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
