Adams, 69, 3439 Fremont st., died at 12:35 p.m. Saturday November 16, 1963 in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness. Born April 14, 1894, in Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jenkin Rees. Lived 61 years in Rockford, coming here from Oregon, Ill. Married to Harry L. Adams in Rockford Oct. 21, 1918. He died April 8, 1960. Member of Grace Methodist Church. Survivors include: two sons, Robert E. Adams, New Orleans, La., and Jack H. Adams, Miami, Okla.; and two brothers, Leland D. Rees, Rockford, and Eldon H. Rees, Dixon; and seven grandchildren. Services at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 in Grace Methodist Church, with the Rev. Milo J. Vandrocek, pastor, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Arrangements by Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N. 5th St. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18.
