Daniel I. Clements, 70, of Cazenovia died Wednesday at University Hospital. Dan was a Communicant of St. James Church. Dan retired from the Madison County Sanitation Department in Wampsville after 27 years. After his retirement, Dan maintained the ball fields at the American Legion Post in Cazenovia. He also maintained the Wilson Cemetery on Bingley Road. Dan will be remembered for always helping neighbors and friends. Dan is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Scott (Ann) of New Woodstock and Chris (Pam) of Cazenovia; his grandchildren that he adored, Brian, Andrew, Laura and Lindsey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. James Church, 6 Green St., Cazenovia. Rite of Committal will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia.
