Larry Percival Proctor, 65, of 116 Mad Ln., husband of Dorothy Martin Proctor, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born March 17, 1948 in Bryson City, NC, he was a son of the late Jay Lincoln and Nora Mae Sawyers Proctor. Mr. Proctor was a US Army veteran and was a former foreman with Fontaine Construction.

In addition to his wife of forty six years, he is survived by his sons, Andrew Herron (Debbie), Dean Herron, Kenneth Herron (Pennie), Paul Dale Herron (Paula) and Larry Jay Proctor (Deana); three brothers; three sisters; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a grandson, K.J. Herron and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
