Mrs. D.B. Maddox, 73 years old, 732 F street northeast, died at 10:25 o'clock Monday morning in a Joplin hospital, where she underwent an operation Sunday. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church her at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Harry W. Curtis. Burial will be in GAR cemetery.
Mrs. Maddox had been a resident of Miami for more than 30 years, coming here long before statehood. She is survived by her husband, D.B. Maddox; four sons, James Stewart of Los Angeles, and Carl, Raymond, and William Maddox, all of Los Angeles, and two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Pappas of Miami and Mrs. Lena Lay of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Cooper Undertaking company is in charge.
