William E. Voland, 77, retired blacksmith, died Monday night at his home in Fond du Lac.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kiel, with burial in the Rockville Cemetery.

He was born in Thiensville in 1876 and in 1901 married Helena Krueger. She died in 1910. In 1914 he married Vera Larson. He was a blacksmith at Garnet, Fond du Lac County, retiring nine years ago and moving to Fond du Lac.

Survivors are his wife and a son, Walter of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Fred of Kiel, Philip of California; two sisters, Mrs. Philip Arnold and Mrs. Carl Raquet of Kiel.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
