HOOVERSVILLE - ROSS - Lola D., 95, Hooversville, died Feb. 8, 2011, at The Patriot. Born Feb. 25, 1915, in Hooversville, daughter of John H. and Barbara (Wentz) Rogers. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Dorothy Jean; six brothers; and four sisters. Survived by children, Donna, Hooversville; Daniel, married to the former Wanda Roman, Wilbur; Calvin, married to the former Faith Swintosky, Hooversville; and grandchildren, Stephanie Johns, Stephen Ross, Jennifer DiSante, Michelle Gorski, Daniel and Matthew Ross, Jennifer Sweeney and Jason Ross; also seven great-grandchildren. Member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed cooking. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. John Eash, officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
