Borenz, Harlan R. Went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2012, at the age of 66 years. Loving and devoted husband of Doris (Nee Owens). Beloved dad of Jennifer (David) Schwager. Papa of Kayla Anne "Toots". Loving son of the late Ruben and the late Arlene. Big brother of the late Sherri, Larry (Debra), Guy (Ann), Roxanne (the late Joseph) Zakany and Dennis (Gail Cash). Great son -in-law of the late Daniel and the late Lucy Owens. Brother-in-law of the late Betty Curry, Clara (Lawrence) Crowell, the late Robert Owens, Sarah (Woody) Jones and Jeanette (Marc) Tadlock. Brother and friend in Christ to current and former members of the Layton Ave. Baptist Church family. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Harlan served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965-1969. He served in Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division in Quang Tri province area. Visitation Monday, April 16, 4:00PM at LAYTON AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH followed by Funeral Services at 7:00PM. Committal services Tuesday, April 17, 12:00PM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Union Grove.

Harlan served in Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, Vietnam in 1966-1967. He was a cannoneer 0811 on a 105 howitzer gun crew.
