John Graham Worrell, Jr., 81, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014.

Mr. Worrell was born in Pace, MS and has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1945. He served his country as a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne of the US Army. Mr. Worrell owned and operated West Beach Exxon in Biloxi, Cowan Road Exxon in Gulfport and was the founder of Worrell Automotive Service in Biloxi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and John G. Worrell, Sr.; and sisters, Betsy Thompson, Jacqueline Hinton and Love Barrett.

Mr. Worrell is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Kate" Worrell; daughter, Cheryl (Bobby) Latil; sons, John Michael (Lisa) Worrell and Steven L. Worrell; 6 grand-children, Michael Kyle, Tanya, Laurie, Julie, Amanda and Brooke; and 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
