Heather Harris, 55, of Ada, died Thursday, July 31, 2014. She was born July 26, 1959, at Tulsa to Willis and Barbara Reynolds Worley.

She attended grade school in Waurika and graduated from Waurika High School in 1977. She also attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

She married Gary Harris on January 10, 1981, in Waurika. Mr. and Mrs. Harris moved to this area in June 1983 from Muldrow.

Heather was an office manager for Jack Exporation for 17 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a volunteer for Abba's Tables, which fed the homeless.

Survivors include her husband, one brother, one sister and brother-in-law and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Roy Bateman, Larry McCullen, Terry Painter, Bodie Marrion, Jim Jackson and Mike Byers. Honorary bearers will be Marvin Byers and Jim Speed.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Brent Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
