Diana L. Long, 56, Kansas City, MO (formerly of Leavenworth, KS), passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at her home. She was born the daughter of Edward J. and Flora M. (Johnson) Byrd on April 25, 1948, in Leavenworth. She married Richard "Rick" A. Long on June 16, 1971, in Miami, OK. He survives of the home. Diana had worked for the Mortgage Store as a secretary. She was strong in her faith and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working with computers and fishing. She is survived by her husband Rick, who cherished every day of their 33 years together, 2 sons, 2 stepdaughters, a sister, 2 brothers, and 10 grandchildren. Her parents and brother Edward T. Byrd preceded her in death.
