GLOUCESTER - Lana Lynette Wilson Robinson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008.
Lana was born on July 16, 1948, in Gloucester, Va., to Mildred B. Wilson and the late Samuel H. Wilson Sr. She was employed as the chief of security at the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center in Saluda, Va.
She leaves to remember and cherish her memory, her mother, Mildred B. Wilson of Gloucester; her loving daughter and son-in-law, Anita Jolyn and Demont Strand of Clinton, Md.; one sister, Denise Copeland of Gloucester; three brothers, James E. Wilson (Janet), Samuel H. Wilson Jr. (Bonita) and Horace L. Wilson, all of Gloucester; a longtime special friend, Robert Jackson of Middlesex; two aunts, Dorothy Wilson of Gloucester, and Christine Hunt of Philadelphia, Pa.; one grandchild, Ashley Young of Middlesex; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and special friends.
The funeral service will be noon Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Morning Glory Baptist Church, Woods Cross Roads. Entombment in the Windsor Garden, Dutton. The viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at the J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords, and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
