Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey Dowell French, age 78 of Dickson were held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Baggett officiating. Place of rest is in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. French died Wednesday January 15, 2014. Born in McEwen, he was the son of the late James Coy and Geneva Phy French. He was a retired School Teacher and after retiring he sold insurance and worked at the Lowes in Dickson. He was a member of the Walnut St. Church of Christ and was actively involved in church activities and was a greeter on Sunday mornings. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ragina Saegar French of Dickson; daughter, Robin Rowland of Georgia; son, Galen French and his wife Rica of California; sister, Barbara Springer of New Johnsonville; grandchildren, Hannah Rowland, Abigail Vickers and her husband Carey, Joshua Rowland; great grandchildren, Logan & Raelyn Vickers.
