CHURCHVILLE - Nancy Lorine (Cook) Bartley, 72, of 277 Crawford Drive, died Friday (August 1, 2014) in her home.
Born December 12, 1941, she was a daughter of John William Cook, Jr. and Clemis Hattie (Wiseman) Cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her husband, James Bartley; four children, Tammy Talley of Churchville, Penny Hiner of McDowell, Kevin Bartley of Grottoes, and Stephanie Reynolds of Williamsburg; eight grandchildren, Josh Talley, Shawn Talley, Autumn Shifflett, Travis Hiner, Tabitha Hiner; Evan Bartley, Brayden Bartley, and Nathan Reynolds; and two great-grandchildren, Madalyn Talley and Wyatt Ramsey.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in Bear Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Mark Westebbe. Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
