Linda Hampton Woodruff, 70, of Winnie, died Friday, August 1, 2014, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born May 15, 1944, in Hope, Arkansas, to Hazel Nesbit Hampton and Orvind Royce Hampton. Linda had been a resident of the Winnie area for over fifty-seven years.



Mrs. Woodruff is survived by daughter, Tammy Melancon and her husband, Blaine, of Winnie; son-in-law, Allen Peltier of LaBelle; grandchildren, Morgan and Max Melancon; Kurry Peltier and his wife, Erica; and Kacie Brewer and her husband, Jake; and twin sister, Glenda Leger of Winnie.



She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Peltier; and brother, Ronnie Hampton.



A graveside service for Mrs. Woodruff will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2014, at Fairview Cemetery, 223 Cemetery Road, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie.
