Every source I have checked says 31st March 1941, including the VDK, Luftwaffe loss records, Ancestry.
Here is the report I have:
7/JG51.
Messerschmitt Bf109E (6624). Sortie to England. Crashed mid-Channel. Lt. Enzio von Saalfeld (FF) killed (Sea grave). Aircraft white +3 lost.
No idea why the grave stone says 21st March 1941.
Killed in air battle.
