Mrs. Joseph Bresaw, 53, died at her home at 567 West Third street, at 12:55 a.m. today after an illness of one year.

She was born in Poland, November 25, 1885, and came with her parents to the United States at the age of seven, when the family settled at Winona. Mrs. Bresaw has lived in Winona since then, excepting six years in LaCrosse and seven years in Rochester, after she was married.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Long, Mrs. Lloyd Brabbit and Mrs. Arthur Schulze; one son Henry, and one sister, Mrs. Harry King, all of Winona. Sixteen grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Kelly Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock at St. Casimir's church. The Rev. J. E. Grabowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday evening.
