Mr. L. D. Barksdale was born, August 14, 1931, to the late, Robert and Florence Talley Barksdale. He departed this life, Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at 3:00 P.M. at Montfort Jones Hospital. He accepted Christ at an early age.
His first wife Melissa Merritt preceded him In death. To this marriage (11) eleven children were born, (2) two preceded him In death.
He later married Mrs. Bertha Lee Ashford, on October 4, 1960.
