Tony spent 3 1/2 years in the Army during WWII from 2 June 1942 until he was discharged from Camp McCoy, Wisconsin on 9 Dec. 1945. Tony saw battles in Central Burma and India Burma and received the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal. He and Molly were married 1946 in a double ring service with cousin Mable Lindgren and Lloyd Kongsjord. They honeymooned in Nestor Falls, Canada
