Douglas A. Compton Sr., 76, of Bangor, died June 20, 2006 in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Caroline (Hoskin) Compton. He was employed by the Bangor Borough for 30 years. Survivors: Sons, Douglas Jr. of Saylorsburg, Thomas C. of Henderson, Nev.; daughters, Melodie A. Brewer, and Melissa M. Frack, both of Bangor; brothers, George Warren Compton of Mount Bethel and Edward Compton of Bangor; sister, Evelyn Miksch of Blairstown, N.J.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
