Frank Detert, 90, of 1659 13th St. NW, died Monday, July 19, 1999, in Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Services: 3 p.m. Friday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, and after 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
Survivors include a daughter and husband, a son and wife; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. {name omitted}
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Frank was born Aug. 10, 1908, in Solon, the son of Joseph and Anna Dlouhy Detert. He married Marie E. Nemecek on March 10, 1934, in Minneapolis. SHe died in 1994. Frank was a welder at FMC and retired from there after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, Local 229 AFL/CIO and the Czech Heritage Society....
