Geneva L. King, age 92 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died July 30, 2014 at her home. Visitation was held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 6pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home. Eastern star services were provided by Laurel Heights #288 OES Friday, August 1, 2014 at 7:30pm. Burial was in the Koger Cemetery Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1pm.

She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on June 2, 1922 the daughter of the late Shelby Brown and Lorena (Sperlin) Heath. She was a homemaker and had worked at Oak Ridge during World War II. She was a member of the Laurel Heights #288 OES.

Her parents; husbands, James E. King (actually still living as of her death) and William Kenneth Myers; and son Kirby Vernon Ross precede her in death (as her siblings)

Survivors include her son, Larry E. King and wife, Kim of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; daughter, Susie Street of Texas; grandchildren, Tiffany King Montgomery and husband, Sam, Heather King, Karen Ross Ryder and husband, Larry, Shelly Ross Smallwood and husband, Matthew, Karen Smith, and Sandra Smith; and great grandchildren, Lauren and Kristen Ryder, Cody Ross-Huff, and Dane Smith.
