Karen, 59, Coldwater, died at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of Richard and Dorothy Joan (Glover) Bowman.
Surviving are a son, Jason (Leslie) Petersen, Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Amy (Troy) Hudson, Portland, IN; two brothers: Michael, Indianapolis, and Jim (Kim), Lebanon, IN; and seven grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Carmel High School, Indiana University School of Nursing, Ivy Tech, and the Wishard Paramedic program in Indianapolis. She was a LPN at Wishard and Randolph Co. Hospital. She was formerly employed at The Flower Nook, and Arts Place, Portland. She also worked at Fort Recovery Industries.
A memorial service to celebrate her life is at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Josh Huggett officiating.
