Rhinehart, Mary L. (nee Griggs), entered into eternal peace on Wed., July 30, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital Palliative Care. Beloved wife of the late Herman G. Rhinehart; dear mother of Carole (Will) Varnado, Susan (Thomas) Sazama, Sandra (Craig) Nelson and Karen (Dan Panning) Rhinehart; dear grandmother of Brian (Heather) Cole, Sarah (Bryan) Harms, Nathan Whitaker, Melissa (Jay) MacLellan; dear great-grandmother of Mason, Cole, Rory, Carly, Avery and Blake; our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend. Mary worked for a short time at Brown Shoe Company before taking a job at the US Cartridge Plant during WWII. She was co-owner and operator of Rhinehart's IGA Market in South St. Louis where she worked side-by-side with her husband Herman for over 20 years. She was a long time member of Tower Grove Baptist Church and active in the Women's Missionary Union. Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Sat., Aug. 2, at 10am until funeral services at 11:30am. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
