Robert, 90, departed this earthly life on Wed., July 30, 2014.

He was born January 25, 1924 in Delaware, AR to Noah Webster & Minnie Bell (Cox) Dycus.

Robert retired from Tinker AFB as a mechanic. He proudly served his Country as an Army Veteran serving in WWII.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mattie; son, Bobby; & step-daughter, Edna Louise True- love.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Jean Weeks; daughter, Loretta Walton; son, Richard & wife Joyce Dycus; grandchildren, Troy Dycus, Debbie Jordan, Christie Lee Dycus, Robert Wayne Dycus, Donna Cagle, Jon Walton; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Fri. Services to celebrate his life will be 1:00 PM Sat., Aug. 2, 2014, at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 6934 S. Western Ave. with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may leave condolences for the family at www.vondelsmithmortuary.com
