Shirley Ann Van Camp, 76, of New Cumberland, WV passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Trinity East Valley Hospice Steubenville, OH.

She was born Nov. 9, 1937, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Ross Earl Mercer and Opal Mae (Rice) Mercer.

Shirley was retired from Weirton Medical Center laundry and transport departments, was a Homemaker and a member of the Colliers Way Church of Christ.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edgar Van Camp and four brothers, James Earl Mercer, Ross Junior Mercer, Clyde James Mercer and Ernest Russell Mercer.

Surviving are her two sons, Jeff (Sloan) Van Camp of Burgettstown, PA and Kevin Lee Van Camp of New Cumberland, WV; one brother, Howard Lee Mercer of Jacksonville, FL and one grandchild, Chase Atlee Van Camp.

Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Turley Funeral Home.

Services will be there Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Derby officiating. Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
