Wilson W. DiCuffa, 63, of Bryan and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, April 24, 2003.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, at 11 a.m., at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church with the Reverends Larry Altman and Jeff Bayley officiating.
Marilyn Jenkins was the organist and Dr. Rollie Blondeau, the vocalist.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Prior to the funeral services, the body lay in state in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
DiCuffa was born July 6, 1939, in Lubbock, the son of Salvatore DiCuffa and Mary Alice McLean DiCuffa. He married Pat Bayley on June 2, 1962, in Plainview and she survives.
Before the DiCuffas moved to Bryan a number of years ago, he was a local peach grower. At one time, he was also a high school principal.
In addition to his wife, DiCuffa is survived by one daughter, one son and their spouses, including Julie and Robert Wilson of College Station and Tony and Kelly DiCuffa of Austin, and two grandsons.
Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, including Ruth and Victor Esche of San Angelo, Joanna and Veachel Moss of Livingston and Jim DiCuffa of Austin.
His parents preceded him in death.
