"Sauquoit - Death of Charles W. Cook of this village occurred Wednesday, July 29, 1936, at a Utica Hospital following an illness of several days.
He was born in this village 76 years ago and married Ella Walling. At one time he served as rural mail courier for 11 years, later being employed in mills in this vicinity.
Mr. Cook attended St. George's Episcopal Church of Chadwicks and was a member of Sauquoit Lodge, F&AM.
Besides his widow he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Sidney Green; two sons, Howard and louis, all of this village; a brother, John, and 11 grandchildren."
