Minnie Elizabeth Bailey, 91, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 2:08 PM Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Monroe City Manor Care Center in Monroe City, MO, where she had lived for the last 4 years.

Graveside Services and Burial will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of services Saturday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bailey was born August 15, 1922, in Taylor, MO to Moss P. and Hannah Krigbaum Lugena.

She was married to Raymond Lee Bailey on March 16, 1946 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death December 29, 2010.

Survivors include 1 Daughter, Connie Thurman and husband Tom of Monroe City, MO,1 Granddaughter, Cindi Osborne and husband Paul of Liberty, MO,1 Grandson, Brad Thurman and wife Jacki of Hannibal, MO, 6 Great-Grandchildren, Brendon Tiszka of Columbia, MO, Alexander Osborne and Trevor Osborne of Liberty, MO and Keilynn Sanders, Thomas Thurman and Carley Thurman all of Hannibal, MO, one sister in law, Mary Grace McCann of Decatur, IL, and a special nephew, Ernie Yackley and wife Dorothy of Durham, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 6 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mrs. Bailey was baptized in the Calvary Baptist Church as a young lady.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James E. Cary Cancer Center in Hannibal or the Monroe City Manor Care Center in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brad Thurman, Paul Osborne, Ernie Yackley, Kurt Yackley, Kurt Allen, and Brendon Tiszka.

Honorary pallbearers will be Megan Rozkiewicz, Jennifer Mayfield, Crystal Hooper, Barb Little, Jacki Potterfield, and Lacy Seward, who loved and cared for Mrs. Bailey for the past 4 years and all the other staff and girls at Monroe City Manor Care Center.
