LANCE DAVIS, age 58, a long-time resident of Irving, graduate of MacArthur High School and owner of Body Mechanix, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born August 15, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas, he was the son of the late John R. Davis and Billy Nell Pipkin Davis. He married Debra Travis May 1, 2004 in Bethel, Texas. A massage therapist, owner of Body Mechanix, he also taught at the Lotus Center of Irving. He was a Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks fan and loved playing golf and landscaping his home. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Marc Davis and Tim Davis, he is survived by his wife Debra Travis; daughter Kema Nicole Davis of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Abigail Molnar and Samuel Molnar; a sister, Cheryl Davis Loper of Corsicana; parents-in-law, Al and Ann Travis of Irving; nephews, J. T. Davis, Josh Davis, Brandon McDivit, Phil McDivit and Jonathan Wilk; niece Sarah Wilk; sisters-in-law, Leanne Travis, Kim Scoggins and husband Dale; extended family Michelle Castaneda and husband Adrian, Amanda Huskins, Daniel Recksiek, and Travis Recksiek and families; his constant companion Bohdi Satfa Davis; and numerous friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
