ROBERT CAMPBELL
STAR CITY--Robert B. "Pop" Campbell, 74, of Star City, died September 3, 1997, at Gardner Nursing Home at Star City.
He was born at Amherst, Virginia, on July 7, 1923, a son of the late John Robert and Katie Bell Moyer Campbell.
He was a retired iron worker and a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Epperson Campbell; three daughters, Brenda Carter of Star City and Linda Krebs and Shirley Jacobs, both of Baltimore; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the family's home on Bradley Street at Star City with Johnny Powell officiating. The body was cremated. Griffin Funeral Home of Star City is handling the arrangements.
