funeral service for Lamar Student, Jordan Burk was held at 2:00 PM Friday July 11, 2014 at the Lamar High School Auditorium. Darren Willis officiated the service. Burial followed in the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.

Visitation for Jordan was held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday July 10, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Jordan P. Burk was born on January 24, 1997 in Lamar, Colorado and departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday July 3, 2014 at the age of 17.

Jordan was preceded in death by two siblings – Logan Williams and Tara Burk; and by her maternal Great-Great Grandparents – Timothy (Lois) Minton.

Jordan is survived by her parents – Buddy and Tahra Burk of Lamar and Dale Corbin also of Lamar; by her siblings – Alyssa, Daulton, Shadow, Aleigha, Joey, Hunter, Rowdy, Bryson, Buddy, and Charity; by her maternal grandparents – Cari Smith and Max and Terry Anderson all of Lamar; by her paternal grandparents – Skeeter Burk of Wyoming and Peggy Corbin of Las Animas; and by her maternal Great Grandparents – Lora and Jim Briggs of Holly; also surviving are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Jordan P. Burk Memorial Fund in care of Peacock Funeral Home.



The two people killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday along U.S. 50 near Lamar were teenage girls, the Colorado State Patrol reported Friday.The patrol identified the two girls as Cassidy Wallace, 17, and Jordan Corbin-Burk, 17, both of Lamar.
