Zora F. Hess

Zora F. Hess, 56, died at 8 p.m. Sunday at her home on RR 6, Kankakee, following a long illness.
She was born Sept. 25, 1923. in Chatsworth to Mr. and Mrs. Othal Collins. She was married February 6, 1944, in Herscher to William Hess.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Herscher, and a member of the women's committee of the Kankakee County Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Hess was a membcr or the Twilight Twiriers Square Dance Club.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Donna Malone of Kankakee. Sue Brundies of Crete and Alta Sorenson of Kankakee; two suns Keith and Frank !less, both at home, seven grandchildren, her father of Evening Shade. Arkansas; three sisters , Dorothy Wells of fairbury, Doris Bahr of Olivet Michigan, and Melvina
Feltner of Battle Creek, Mitchigan: one brother, Richard Collins of Delton
Michigab. and two stepbrothlers. Ernest and Edward Serene, both of Michigan.
Her mother and one son are deceased.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Herscher. With the Rev. William Royer officiatmg.
Visitation at the Hertz-Thoma funeral Chapel will he from 3 p .m. Tuesday and until noon Wednesday. Visitation at the church wiIl be from 1 p.m Wednesday until the services.
Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens.
Memorials in Mrs. Hess' name have been establlshed for the Prairie View Lutheran Hume, Danforth, and for the Cancer Fund.
