Died at the Buffalo, MN. Memorial Hospital at the age of 72 years.
The early years of his life were spent at Menomonie. Here he was baptized in the Christian faith 29th November, 1888 and was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in 1901. He moved to Buffalo, MN. some 30 years ago and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
On 7th October, 1914, he married Anna Rogstad at Duluth, MN., formerly of North Menomonie. To them were born two daughters: Elaine and Marjorie.
Mr. Johnson was widely known in the Buffalo area as an auto salesman for many years. The entire community respected him as an honest and cheerful friend who always had time to talk to young and old.
His wife, their two daughters their spouses, grandchildren, six brothers,four sisters and other relatives and friends
survived him.
Brother John and sister Clara preceded him.
The Rev. Carl G. Okerbloom spoke on the text: II Corinthian 4:16-18. Interment was in the Carlslund Cemetery, MN.
Note, Cemetery is also known as Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
