Michael T. "One Arm Bandit" Mosley

Michael T. "One Arm Bandit" Mosley, 64, of Union City, formerly of Battle Creek, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at the Laurels of Coldwater. Michael was born on March 26, 1946, in Battle Creek, the son of Leslie C. and Pearl M. (Mills) Mosley. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Harper Creek High School. He was married to Stella Faye Mosley who preceded him in death, then companion, Kathleen Canfield who also preceded him and currently was married to the former Tina Gaw who survives. Mike owned and operated Mike's Towing in Battle Creek for many years, and also provided wrecker service at Galesburg Speedway. He enjoyed racing, stock car driving, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He never knew a stranger. Surviving are children, Shawn (Vicki) Mosley and Lori Lockmiller both of Battle Creek, Melissa (Craig) MacGregor of Colorado; step-daughter, Kim Henderson of Battle Creek, Jamie Hughes of Union City, Lori Ann Burk, Ashley Burghdoff of Union City; sisters, Pat Holder of Battle Creek and Trena Russell of Lake City, MI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Greg Lockmiller, Sr.; special friends, Mike (Cheryl) Bock of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Mosley and a sister, Beverly Garrett. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Pennfield Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Douglas R. Nettleton officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
