WEST YARMOUTH - 96, died Thursday at Mayflower Place Nursing Home.

She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Cash. Mrs. Cash was born in Centerville and was a lifelong resident of Yarmouth. She was a 1927 graduate of Yarmouth High School.

She worked for the former E.C. Hall Company, in Hyannis for 18 years. Later, she worked for Suburban Gas Company, retiring after 33 years.

During the 1940s and 1950s, she was an active member and past president of the former Weyar Matrons Club of the West Yarmouth Congregational Church. She late became a member of the Federated Church of Hyannis.

Mrs. Cash loved to knit and crochet and enjoyed her African violets. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching the birds, especially the cardinals.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley A. of Hyannis; two sisters, Grace of Morgan, VT, and Eleanor of Baytown, Texas; a brother, Richard A. of Morgan, VT; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial at Ancient Cemetery, Centre Street, Yarmouth.
