Mrs. Pearl A. Voss, 83, of 839 16th st NE died Thursday afternoon at the Massillon City Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Voss was born in Iowa, the daughter of David Franklin and Rachel Huff Franklin, and resided most of her life in Massillon. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former teacher of the Dorcas Sunday school class at the church. Her husband, Herman H. Voss, died in June, 1967.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Norma Jean) Stamets of Massillon and six grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Laverne (Virginia) Barnhart, died in 1974.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, with the Rev. John G. Moody, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be made in Massillon Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
