TACOMA, WASH. - Sidney Allen Baird, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, in Seattle.
Military graveside services were Feb. 7 in Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent by Marlatt Funeral Home of Kent.
Mr. Baird was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Cisco, Texas, and was a retired USAF Col. Command Pilot. He married Barbara Cole Baird in 1951 in Amarillo, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of Tacoma; a son, Sidney Mark Baird of Vashon Island; a daughter, Karen Baird Reiss of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's research or cancer research.
