Passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her Florence, KY residence. She was a homemaker and former sales clerk for the McAlpin Co., Cincinnati, OH. Member and Deacon of the Madison Avenue Christian Church, Covington, KY. Enjoyed making pot roast dinners for family and friends. Services 12 Noon Wednesday, May 21st at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. Interment, Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY. Visitation 11 a.m. until hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Madison Avenue Church Book of Remembrance, 1530 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Chapman; daughter, Joyce Chapman Hatfield; sons, Allen Richard Chapman and Dennis Lee Chapman; brothers, William Stanley McNees, Andrew Jackson McNees, John McNees and Charles McNees; sisters, Minnie Payne, Margaret LaFollette, Ann Gifford and Blanche Parsons. Surviving are her: daughter-in-law Janet Enscoe Chapman, Florence, KY; sister, Mabel Holmes, Ft. Thomas, KY; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
