Brian W. Chambers, 40, of Danville, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 28, 2014, at his residence.

He was born June 24, 1974, in Madison, a son of Roy and Janet (Duty) Chambers.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stewart and Lucy Duty, and paternal grandfather, Roy Chambers Sr.

Brian loved church and working with the church youth. He enjoyed writing songs for the Lord and singing. He enjoyed working and playing on the computer. He loved his children with all his heart and spending time doing things with them. Brian was a Sunday school superintendent, teacher, minister and youth leader.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Sabrina; one son, Jacob; one sister, Sara; and many friends and loved ones.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Church of God in the Name of Christ, Big Creek, with Johnny Meade officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

Friends may call Friday, Aug. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
