Mr. Alfred Joe Edward McKinley, age 81 of Goodway, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Huxford, Alabama. Mr. McKinley was a former resident of Pensacola, Florida and Lillian, Alabama. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Goodway. He was also a member of the Huxford Senior Citizens Center. Mr. McKinley worked with Richold Industries as a reactor operator. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. McKinley is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Alma Lee McKinley; his wife, Eloise McKinley; his grandson, Alan Randall; his great granddaughter, Emily Lain and his step sons, Ronnie Lowell and Jeffery Lowell.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy McKinley of Goodway; his sons, Joe Edward McKinley of Wilsonville, AL, Dennis Alan McKinley of Goodway, Roger Lowell of Loxley, AL and Kenneth Brian Lowell of Rosinton, AL; his daughters, Sherry Peek of Milton, FL; Melanie Jennings of Oakland, TN and Kristina Salter of Magnolia Springs, AL; his sisters, Ellen Holder of Huntsville, AL and Shirley McGhee of Seminole, AL; thirty grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Goodway with President Greg L. Albritton officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Goodway. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ronnie Randall, Scott Randall, Aaron Randall, Jason McKinley, Ross Guthrie, Ted McKinley, Adam McKinley and Evan McKinley. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean McKinley, Kevin Randall, Tim Randall, Jay Boyd, Chaiden Randall, Roger Lowell and Brian Lowell.
