Geneva Whitmire Grant, 89, of Gainesville died Monday at the Bell Minor Home following an extended illness.
She was born in Dawson County. She was retired from Milners Department Store and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Dawson County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Grant; and her parents, Lester and Birdie Whitmire Garrett.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert Grant, Gainesville; sister, Gladys Ball, New Hampshire; and three grandchildren
