POWERS, Jennifer Jane, 51, beloved daughter of James William and Mary Therese (Osweiler) Powers passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 28, 2014, after a long illness. She was born August 28, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, and was baptized at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

She attended Vandalia-Butler Schools, Northview and Monco. Jennifer loved drawing, her cats, traveling, restaurants and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John William and Emma (Hromish) Powers, and Paul Leonard and Elizabeth Jane (Grady) Osweiler; one aunt, Carol (Powers) Brokamp, one uncle, Paul Joseph Osweiler.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by two brothers: Paul William Powers and his wife Lisa of Painesville, Ohio, and James Patrick Powers of Vandalia; three nephews, Frank, Deaglan and Liam Powers of Painesville; two nieces, Peyton and Reilly Powers of Beavercreek, OH; four aunts, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, Mrs. Walter Schaller (Susan), Mrs. Robert Helm (Heidi) of Kettering, and Mrs. Ethyl (Biser) Osweiler of Troy; three uncles, John Osweiler and his wife Adele of Butler Twp., James Brokamp of Dayton, and Lawrence Powers and his wife Judi of Flagstaff, AZ and numerous cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 1 at 10:30am at St Anthony Catholic Church 830 Bowen St. Dayton. Interment will follow the services at Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.mortonwhetstonefh.com
