DELTA--Mrs. Earl B. Hooper, 69, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday in Delta Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient since Saturday but in failing health for a long time. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Roberts Funeral Home. Born Ella Jane McClung at Lookout, W. Va., July 16, 1887, she married Earl B. Hooper at Blue Rapids, Kan., July 16, 1909. She moved to Colorado in 1928 and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Verna Allinger of Buena Vista, Mrs. Nina Gipe of Moab, Utah and Mrs. Ruth Stearns of Monrovia, Calif.; a son, Frank Hooper of Climax, three sisters, two brothers and six grandchildren. A son, Ed, was killed in World War II.
